Khay Dee Deba

An Oriental Utility knife with double bevels and a beautiful rock chop curve.

Perfect for smaller food prep and chopping fresh herbs.

A style of knife that was traditionally used for filleting fish in Japan, this little I.O.Shen Khay Dee Deba Knife has a very deep blade sharpened on both sides to suit Western chefs. Great for cooks who like to use an Oriental-style utility knife, the deep heel of the blade means that it even suits larger hands.

I buy lots of Chef knives but this is my first from Ioshen. I have to say that the service was excellent. Queries were answered promptly, service was excellent and delivery was prompt. Beautifully wrapped if you wanted a present for someone. I wanted a small Deba and this perfect. Well made, solid, nicely weighted and really sharp straight from the get go. Would I buy again … Absolutely.

Really happy with my purchase! The I.OShen Khay Dee Deba is very versatile. I Have used for filleting fish, chopping herbs and small veg prep. Super sharp and excellent quality.
Great friendly service too, and was kept in the loop regarding dispatch and delivery. Can’t wait to add an I.OShen Nakiri to my collection! Thank you 🙂

Fantastic as a utility knife. Perfect balance, perfect weight. I think this might be my new favourite prep knife.
Thanks for taking so much trouble with the engraving! I think that next time I might limit it to the postcode and house number. Perfect for tracing.
